I decided to ask those kids of mine what college would they like to attend and my oldest said, “I don’t know, what’s to eat?” My daughter said I just want to dance, I said, “where?” She said where all the dancers go, (she’s such a pretty girl)
My middle child Cameron said, “I want to go to Brown!” I was mesmerized because you know he is only 11! I asked him what did he want to study there and he said, “I want to be an engineer!” So I was like, “Wow, Ok and what do you want to do with an Engineering Degree Cam?”
He said to my utter amazement,
“I want to design and create new technology that will change the world!”
(that’s Cameron below)
I am going to e-mail his math and science teacher tomorrow so that we can start planning his FUTURE!!!

Wow! That kid definitely has a future! Hang on to your hat, Mom!
Love, love, love it! Rach never mentions dancing as a career. She has selected orchestra (the viola) over band because the orchestra teacher told them that they would have a good shot at a music scholarship if they played one of a couple of stringed instruments. I was very suprised. All she has talked about since Alex was in band was "being in the band." She wants to go to the magnet program at SCHS and then on to Auburn to be a vet. I'm just watching this unfold...
Hi Ms. Eva I'm going to try and hold onto my wallet!!!
Welcome Ms. Teri you did it!!!! I'm so proud of you:) You are an official blogger!!!!
You go, Cam! It's so important to let our children follow their path instead of us creating one for them.
