Is Noah in Georgia?

I think I feel like those people did when Noah had that ark. If I was them I would have been begging God to please forgive me for my sins and let me on that boat!!! I live here outside of Atlanta in the Cobb County area and I have never seen so much rain in my life!!!

Here is a photo of a huge branch that fell off my ginormous Oak Tree in my front yard.

Here is a photo of an old ivy covered tree that fell in my Driveway. Which by the way would have crushed that 40,000 dollar F150 truck that the Man took last month.

Oh yeah and here is a gaping hole that fell through my Family Room at 5am this morning. Hubby already happily fixing it!

This week has been filled with ground shaking thunderstorms, crackling skies, blinding streaks of lightning; truly this has been a biblical scene manifested right here in Georgia! It has rained here none stop for a week, I absolutely could not imagine 40 days and nights of rain!

Here is my son happily enjoying this flood as only children can and extremely excited that schools are closed tomorrow!!!
Are there any Atlantians out there experiencing the Flood? Any one ever been in a Flood? It is truly a humbling experience!

Stay safe. We have had flooding in years past in our town, but it has never been that bad, thank goodness.

Noah must be in Georgia because I declare he was in FL last week. I may not have been in a flood, but them hurricanes ain't no joke. How far are you from Forest Park, GA? We have friends that we go and visit about once a year and hopefully you and I will get a chance to meet.

I can definitely relate to the feeling of thinking Noah was in Georgia, except for me it was in good old Buckingham, VA. Last year I felt like it would never stop raining. I agree there is no way I could even imagine 40 days and 40 nights. We didn't get a hole in the roof or a tree on the ground but we got our share of water in the basement. So much I had to roll up my sleeves and my pants, grab two buckets at a time and carry the water out of the basement myself. I too had never seen so much rain in my life. On another note, glad you guys are ok, see you soon.
Love love love....smooches

Oh my goodness! I guess I can stop complaining about the rain in Florida. There is ALWAYS someone worse off. Glad I dropped by to check on you. Stay dry...if you can.

Isn't it enviable how children can see the "fun" in everything? To them, natural disasters are toys. I mean, as long as they aren't actually experiencing the threat. I'm talking about if the lights go out, we adults groan at the thought of the food in the refrigerator going bad, while the kids go "YAY!!" and make a game out of it.

I have a new swimming pool…in my basement. What caused the big hole in your family room ceiling? Did your roof leak?
