Peace when we sleep!

Ok, so Me and Mr. Pettybicker (that's him making easter eggs on the right) kept a cool distance from each other yesterday. We managed to function through the evening. Even when he came home after I made dinner and said he did not want to eat, I shrieked inside but said nothing! He got the boys to BB practice and I got my daughter to dance. I decided that I would not say anything to him for the rest of the evening, give him a time out.

Well, that worked until my car broke down!!! It started to make this horrible buckling noise. I pulled over and called on him. No, not God, Mr. Pettybicker (see picture above).
I did not want to call him but, what was I suppose to do? He had this very drab mono tone that was absolutely killing me but, I was not going to go there. He said, "what do you want me to do?" I took that moment and absolutely stared up to heaven and asked God to please give me some patience, PLEASE! He did, I calmed down and told my husband calmly let me try the engine again and see if I can drive slowly home. It worked I managed and we managed not to fight:)
So, last night I went to sleep and I had this amazing dream. The dream was all about feeling peaceful it was warming me like a blanket while I slept. Everything felt like it was going to be alright. Home, kids, marriage, business, everything will be alright. Then I woke up. The peace was sucked into a black hole and I started to cry.
I dried those tears before the kids woke up, fixed homemade waffles and sausage for them and sent them happily off to school. They hugged me and told me they loved me and that peace blanket was back hovering around my feet:)

Girrrl, I believe we all battle from day to day to some degree, but won't admit it. Just this morning I felt YUCKY emotionally, but I had to pray and praise it away. Replacing my ugly, carnal thoughts is an all day task for me.

I also read the post about your family joining church on Easter Sunday. That's another reason your days have been rough. You pissed the enemy off (LOL).

Have a joyful day!
